Don’t let her name fool you - SOFTSPKN is an electronic producer and DJ from Toronto, Canada known for infusing trap elements with bass-heavy music.

She burst into the scene in 2023 with her bold release “We Ain’t Friends” which features catchy rap vocals and a hefty horn-driven drop. Later that year, she released "Knockin", a dubstep-infused hybrid trap song that caught the attention of SKIO Music and won her third place in their Bass Music Festival contest.

Inspired by artists including: Boombox Cartel, Krewella, Alison Wonderland and Peekaboo to name a few, SOFTSPKN enjoys contrasting lonely melodies with dense drops.

In her earlier years, SOFTSPKN attended college at Metalworks Institute for Studio Production & Business, and shortly after studied at Dubspot to specialize in electronic music production and DJing. She’s performed and taught DJ lessons in venues across Toronto and has also performed with Alex Kade.

Although she’s SOFTSPKN, her music speaks volumes.
